Celebrity Apprentice star and beauty queen Dayana Mendoza is firing back at co-star Lisa Lampanelli for a racial insult she allegedly used during a radio interview.

It all went down last month when Lampanelli appeared on Sirius XM, saying:

“I actually would love to see [Dayana] giving birth. She’s a sp*c! She’s going to do it f**king soon, anyway. She’ll be knocked up before the end of the week.”

Lampanelli is no stranger to using that slur in particular. Here’s a portion of a routine she did a few years back in which she says that and much worse:

Dayana tells the Huffington Post, “I understand that it’s Lisa’s job to make fun of people for a living. If poking fun at me can help her sell tickets, no problem.”

“I am happy to help her put food on her table. However, when she uses racial slurs, she is not only targeting myself but degrading an entire Hispanic culture.”

Former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum suspended his White House bid on Tuesday, all but ceding the Republican presidential nomination to rival Mitt Romney.

“We made a decision over the weekend that while this presidential race for us is over for me, and we will suspend our campaign effective today,” he said.

Santorum did not endorse Romney in making his announcement, though he did vow to fight to defeat President Obama and help Republicans win in the fall.

In a statement, Mitt Romney called Santorum “an able and worthy competitor” and congratulated his often-bitter rival for the formidable campaign he ran.

“He has proven to be an important voice in our party and the nation,” said Romney.

“We both recognize that what is most important is putting the failures of the last three years behind us and setting America back on the path to prosperity.”

Santorum’s campaign insisted earlier in the day that he was not leaving the GOP race despite a decision to cancel his Tuesday morning campaign events.

His three-year-old daughter Bella, who suffers from a rare genetic condition called Trisomy 18, had been hospitalized again after falling ill over the weekend.

Santorum said that Bella recovered after a “difficult weekend,” but that the situation “did cause us to think in the role that we have as parents in her life.”

That, along with his dimming chances of overtaking Romney in the GOP delegate race, likely caused the unapologetic social conservative to pack it in.

Nevertheless, he leaves having won more than 10 states in the Republican nominating contest, pushing Romney longer than anyone possibly predicted.

Ron Paul and Newt Gingrich remain in the GOP race, but well behind Romney, who appears poised to finally finish this political war of attrition.

Last night on The Voice, Christina Aguilera offered some less-than-glowing words for the falsetto-singing Tony Lucca, one of Adam Levine’s proteges.

After a rendition of “In Your Eyes,” Christina called him “one-dimensional,” said she thinks there are better voices on the show, and hopes The Voice doesn’t become about “celebrity sway” that keeps fan favorites like Tony in the competition.

Adam’s response: “Wow. That was honest.”

Popular with fans and celebrities alike, Lucca got the support of Justin Timberlake, a MMC alum along with Aguilera and Britney Spears, on Twitter Monday.

Justin Bieber continues to give his fans a taste of his forthcoming video for “Boyfriend,” with new teaser clips (below) and interviews on the topic.

“I think people are going to be really happy [with the video] and … I think it’s going to make people like the song more,” Bieber told MTV News.

“The song, and the album (Believe), in general, is just really new and fresh and I think that people are going to be really happy to hear it.”

The song represents a more mature sound for the 18-year-old, but he says “Boyfriend” is just one component of the album’s overall sound.

“I think it’s part of it,” he said. “My whole album is so different and every song’s different, I think that what’s special about it; nothing sounds the same.”

Bieber also teased that he would be hitting the studio with his mentor Usher, who in turn tweeted a bit more about working with his understudy.

“Ohh … and trust we got a duet coming for ‘LOOKING 4 MYSELF’ and ‘BELIEVE,’” he said of working with the teen star on both their forthcoming albums.

“He has come a long way. Proud to see his evolution as an artist!”

We’re guessing 19,863,129 Beliebers (as of this post) concur.

Madonna’s new album MDNA has sort of crashed and burned, posting nowhere close to the kind of sales figures one would expect from the Queen of Pop.

The record sold 359,000 copies when it debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts, but has since plummeted to 46,000 copies in its second week of release.

While many acts would be grateful to sell 400,000-plus units, it’s a letdown for one of the all-time greats, not to mention a record-setting dropoff.

Is she the Immaterial Girl?

Interestingly, in its first week of release, her manager Guy Oseary said of MDNA:

“People are really digging it. We feel good about the album. It’s her 12th album and the same story she had 30 years ago. That’s an amazing accomplishment.”

Some critics agree that it’s the same story as 30 years ago. They just don’t see it as a big selling point for Madonna. Said the Los Angeles Times:

“MDNA more than anything sounds like an album made by someone who lost touch with the desires of today’s music… the Madonna of today has lost the art of surprise.”

Ouch.

Eight months after announcing her engagement to Christian Evans, Ricki Lake is a married woman. She eloped with her fiance, according to reports!

“They had been planning on doing it this way and didn’t want a big spectacle,” a source explained to Us. “Ricki is so happy! She really found love again.”

Lake dropped a not-so-subtle hint on Twitter Tuesday with a fuzzy but stunning shot of herself, clad in a lacy wedding gown and holding a bouquet.

That could be construed as a wedding announcement of sorts:

“Yup, this is me,” the actress and talk show host, 43, Tweeted along with the photo seen above. “Sadie Sadie married lady. Love is in the air. Xo”

Congratulations to Ricki and Christian Evans! On a side note, no wonder Facebook bought Instagram for $1 billion, no one uploads a pic without it anymore.

Snow White and the Huntsman stars Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth and Sam Claflin are helping celebrate Kristen Stewart’s 22nd birthday in style.

The trio, in their amazing accents, uploaded separate video cards to offer well-wishes to the actress, who plays Snow White, on the special occasion.

“Kristen Stewart, a little birdie came and told me it was your birthday,” proclaimed Theron. “Dude, happy friggin’ birthday. You’re awesome.”

“I feel honored to know you. Just keep rockin’, man. You’re amazing. Mad love.”

Theron, who plays the evil Queen, then blew her a kiss. As for Hemsworth and Claflin, they kept it short and sweet … but man those guys are cool.

Despite her initial claims, McDonald’s worker Mirlande Wilson didn’t actually win the Mega Millions lottery. She just made that story up … for reasons unknown.

The Maryland woman claimed she won the lottery but couldn’t find the ticket, perhaps in hopes that someone would just take her word and cut her a check.

Alas, three winners – all female teachers from Maryland who wish to remain anonymous – have come forward to claim the record $218 million winnings.

This was a disappointment to Wilson, but she’s hanging in there.

“I’m doing OK,” she said about finding out that her “missing ticket” ultimately didn’t have the winning numbers. “That’s alright that I didn’t win this time.”

The winners, who call themselves “the three amigos,” were “privately laughing” about Wilson, who publicly proclaimed herself the winner before they did.

When asked why she claimed to have the winning ticket, Wilson said, “I don’t even know what happened, but everybody doesn’t know what really happened.”

Okay then. “If the money is for getting then I’m going to get it,” she added, while her sister added that she will “no doubt” keep playing Mega Millions.

“If she has $20 and spends $19, she’ll take the last $1 and buy a ticket,” she said.

So she spends five percent of her income, after taxes, on lotto tickets. Smart.

Melissa Gilbert suffered a scary spill Monday, but will be okay.

The actress, who wound up in the hospital after she fell during the paso doble on Dancing With the Stars last night, offered an update as to her status.

“I’m alright. Mild concussion and whiplash,” she tweeted in the hours following the spill. “Very soon I’ll be safely home resting and being taken care of.”

Clearly there were no hard feelings toward her partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, as Melissa later wrote: “@Maksim you are my champion. I adore you.”

At the after party on Monday night, the condition of Gilbert, who scored 22 points for the routine, was definitely on the minds of her fellow competitors.

“We hope she is OK,” a concerned Maria Menounos told E! News. “I was really sad because she was really excited to go out tonight and celebrate.”

“Hopefully she is alright,” added young Roshon Fegan.

Her status as far as competing going forward is unclear, but tonight’s results show should provide further updates, we’re hoping. Get well, Melissa!

Hell hath no fury like Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans scorned, apparently.

After watching this YouTube video posted by Evans and dedicated it to now-former BF “Gary Motherf–king Head”, one can’t help but wonder where it all went wrong.

One also can’t help but cringe/laugh out loud at the unintentional comedy.

A pissed-off Jenelle makes it clear who the video is for, then proceeds to sing, angrily and terribly, along to Red Jumpsuit Apparatus’ “Face Down.” Enjoy:

Evans put up the video on Monday, after tweeting that she and Gary Head had split up. “I’m very depressed,” she wrote. “Me and Gary brokeup for good.”

She didn’t elaborate, but she’s clearly not too thrilled with him. On the plus side, this is Jenelle Evans, and she didn’t burn his house down. So that’s something.
