The Touch HD is a fantastic phone, if you can afford one. It out-performs every HTC phone previously and looks fantastic doing it.

Good: Beautiful, large display • Excellent performance • Good battery life • 3.5mm headphone socket • microSD expansion with 8GB card

Bad: Some instances of lag • No free navigation software • It's one of the most expensive smartphones available •

Like all smartphones , the Touch HD includes HSDPA technology for fast web browsing, Wi-Fi for accessing local networks and a built-in GPS receiver.

The review unit did not come with navigation software pre-installed, which is a shame considering the screen size

Call us HTC fanboys, if there is such a thing, but we're pleased to say this is HTC's best smartphone so far. Windows Mobile is still a less-than-perfect OS, but issues with WiMo are fewer than in previous HTC releases, and the Touch HD has certainly been a pleasure to review. Fashion-conscious business people who want a sexy phone that pulls its weight with business-focused features would be wise to check this one out.

What did they say about the Bloutooth ?
Would I be able to tranfer files from phone to another like we all do with Nokia ? Or is this (A2DP Bluetooth) means onlt connecting to a near by devices ?
Good: Every thing.
Bad: What is the use of 5.0 camera but no flash. What a waste.

itching to get one, they are available to pre-order from amazon germany....expected european release is 6th november and asian markets around the same time....no idea when aus is getting it, but id be considering a parrallel import asap

I have been watching HTC for a while now and this could well be my phone/PDA holy grail. After the disappointment of the iPhone (so far as being a half decent office machine) and the lack of any decent office software on the otherwise impressive Nokia N96, I have watched in the hope that HTC might step upto the plate and offer me something special.

This may well be it for me...
Good: Gorgeous display promises to be infinitely appealing to a videophile.

microSD makes for an almost infinitely adaptable machine.
Bad: Lacklustre on board memory - a common trait of HTC is a disappointment despite including a microSD slot.

Processor could be a concern.

Good: gorgeous high resolution display with reasonably form factor
3.5 mm audio jack
TV-out as i heard
1350 mAh batrtery

Bad: no huge user memory but i think that expansion slot woul do the job

Best phone I've seen, the only shortfall I see is that the camera has no flash. If you're putting a decent camera on the phone but no flash, it really takes the appeal away from having a great camera.

An Excellent Attempt from HTC, A Brilliant Form Factor, This device has learned from is predecessors. This Device is definitely a worth considering.
Good: HUGE expandable memory availability, with a Great screen & 3D TouchFlo returns with Full Implementation.
Bad: As with most HTC, I would like to see a stronger processor in this model

You can get 8GB microSD card for about A$40 now. 16 GB is coming soon and 32 GB is not too far off.
Good: Large display screen and WVGA resolution. Supprot external microSD. User replaceable battery. And TouchFLO 3D user interface is beautiful.
Bad: Not sure if it has TV-OUT like the Touch Pro.
