Nokia E90 Communicator
The Nokia E90 communicator is a big, expensive, impressive phone. This phone is built around functionality, with a myriad of bells and whistles. It contains a huge number of business oriented features, and delivers on performance.
Good: Very fast connection • Business oriented • A huge range of features in one phone • Lots of memory and RAM
Bad: Big, heavy and solid • Rigid QWERTY keyboard buttons means typing is slow • GPS didn't work for us • Expensive

Previous phones in Nokia's Communicator series have been described as "bricks"; the metallic brown case of the E90 we received added to this impression.
At 132mm by 57mm by 20mm and 210 grams, this is a big, solid phone. Don't expect it to slip easily into you pocket, and considering this phone's weight and price, you wouldn't want to drop it.
At first glance the E90 looks like an oversized candy-bar phone, with an outside interface with large, square buttons that are reminiscent of older phones.
The external screen is not huge, but at 240 x 320 pixels and with a 16 million colour active matrix display it looks good. In addition, there is an automated screen saver which features both date and time
While not sassy, the exterior of this phone is very functional.
A handy button in the top right-hand corner allows you to quickly move between different phone profiles such as silent mode, and also allows you to switch the phone off.
The right side of the phone features a camera button, and a shortcut to a voice recorder, which would be useful for quick voice notes or during meetings.

Used a borrowed one Nokia E90 Communicator for a month while my Dopod 838 was being repaired. A tremendous phone, fast, stable (I don't think I had to reset it in that time, try that on Windows Mobile), and with a fabulous screen and keyboard. GPS was very slow to get a fix but fine once locked on. Email worked a treat.
- Good: Keyboard, screen, stability,
- Bad: No sex appeal (a teenage girl saw me using it, looked over my shoulder at it, and said "My phone's better" and walked away), but who cares?

Excellent cell phone for those businessmen who are always on journey and don't want to carry a laptop. Best performance. Fast responsive cell phone. I like this gem.
- Good: Decent talk time.
Solid construction.
Large screen.
Detailed menu options.
- Bad: Annoying keypad.
