Sony Ericsson Xperia X1
The X1's good looks and strong hardware are hampered by frequent performance lag, an unintuitive user experience and its jaw-dropping price tag.
Good: Sharp, business-like design • Arc Slider and QWERTY keyboard • Full range of connectivity • Hi-res display
Bad: Frequent lag spikes • Average battery life • Most available Xperia Panels are poorly designed
We still remember when we first saw images of the X1 .
At the time Windows Mobile smartphones were shrugging off its bulky size and boring business looks, but nothing at the time looked like the X1.
The arc-slider and full QWERTY keypad were eye-catching, and the 3-inch touchscreen looked stunning.

just simple cool!
Good: Metal case - less level of radiation. Windows Mobile - compatible with any PC, easy access to files (try it on iPhone), hips of pocket pc software available. Easy to write your own applications in Visual Studio etc.
Bad: Yeah, bulky.

it's perfect .I am a self confessed nerd and would rather have this phone than the severly poor iphone , which by the way doesn't run at 600 mhz , it does have a 600 mhz chip but it's underclocked to about 420 mhz i think , form memory.
Good: it's not an iphone. It runs windows mobile which is the way of the future i reckon
Bad: not much , probably a multitouch screen would have been nice , but it's not a big deal for me

Reading the White Paper on this sick little puppy and my only question is, does the Xperia have Wi-Fi/WLAN capability? The White Paper mentions Wi-Fi in relation to flight mode, but doesn't list it in its features. It is listed at this link http://sonyericssonxperia.com/sony-xperia-x1-specs/ , but I'm assuming the white paper is a more reliable source of information
Good: Seems to have it all
Bad: But does it have Wi-Fi

Good: Look very stylish and has everything i could want in a phone
Bad: Could of made the camera a bit better, at least 5 mega pixels.

I really like the fact that practically everything is included but coming from a p910i, which is at my weight/bulk limit I don't think I can go this model.
I'll wait for the hybrid touch/numeric key candy bar version.
Still, way better than the p990 etc and great for those who don't mind bigger phones or swapping handsets for different things, eg using this for work throughout the day.
Good: Like the article says:
Hamburger w/ the lot
Bad: Bulky (but that's par for the course with qwerty sliders)

Not a phone/PDA for old farts (with aging eyes).
Good: Swiss army knife gadget, unless crippled by the networks.
Bad: The screen is too small. The high resolution will make processing slower, while not adding to readability.
